Study Background

Researchers at the University of Miami are conducting studies on Hispanic/Latino men ages 18+ who identify as MSM (gay, bisexual, or men who have sex with men) to better understand how to link them to health services like HIV prevention and mental health support in the greater Miami area.

These services include counseling, substance use support, and sexual health resources. The study aims to identify the best strategies to help Latino MSM (gay, bisexual, or men who have sex with men) overcome barriers to accessing these services and reduce new HIV diagnoses. By testing different approaches to inform and connect men with health services, we hope to provide more effective ways for Latino men to engage with their health and wellness needs.

Ultimately, the results of this study could lead to improved access to health services and help reduce HIV cases in the Latino MSM (gay, bisexual, or men who have sex with men) community.
