Study Background
The San Francisco VA Medical Center and NCIRE are partnering with individuals who experience PTSD symptoms, nightmares or who have a history of exposure to trauma. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of Doxazosin on sleep quality based on objective measures of sleep and sleep/wake activity.
Your expected time in this study will be 8 weeks on study drug, 6 virtual visits including a baseline and end-of-treatment interviews.

You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria.
Key Criteria:
- Experiencing PTSD symptoms OR nightmares OR have a history of exposure to trauma
- 18-65 years old
- No history of any psychiatric disorder with active psychosis or mania in the past 5 years
