Study Background
Researchers want to learn how anxiety may become part of a person’s sense of self.
Many adults experience anxiety symptoms at different points in their lives. For some people, these experiences may begin to feel like an important part of how they describe themselves or understand who they are. Researchers are interested in learning more about how people think about anxiety and how these thoughts may relate to their identity.
This study will help researchers understand how common it is for people to connect anxiety with their sense of self. The information may also help identify new ideas that could aid future approaches to care and support for people experiencing anxiety challenges.
