Study Background
This research study aims to learn how daily behaviors and symptoms are connected in people living with schizophrenia.
Schizophrenia symptoms can change from day to day, but traditional clinic visits often do not capture what people experience in their everyday lives. Researchers want to better understand how symptoms such as motivation, thinking difficulties, and social withdrawal change over time outside of the clinic.
In this study, participants use a smartphone app that collects information about daily activity patterns such as movement, sleep, screen time, and light exposure. Participants also complete short surveys about their symptoms throughout the day. By combining these sources of information, researchers hope to identify patterns that may help improve how symptoms are monitored and supported in the future.
