Teen Sleep
Research Study
Researchers are studying how sleep affects mood in teenagers.
Many teens do not get enough sleep. Not sleeping enough can raise the risk of depression, suicidal thoughts, substance use, car crashes, and trouble in school.
Sleep problems get worse as teens get older. About 44 percent of high school students say they sleep less than six hours on school nights. Experts recommend at least eight hours.
You can join our study to help us learn how sleep affects teens and preteens. Your participation can help researchers understand how sleep shapes mood, health, and daily life.
