These studies are testing children’s eye movement and social behaviors during playtime to help researchers learn more about early child development.
Your family may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Parent of a child ages 6 months to 5 years old
- Child has no developmental delays
- Parent speaks English with child at least 75% of time
Child born full-term
In-person studies involve a one-time visit to the lab at the University of Chicago, lasting up to one hour. During the study, participants will partake in short children’s science experiments, which include passively recording eye movements and play time.
Online studies can be completed at home with a computer. During the study, participants will watch some videos, and we will analyze their looking behaviors or social behaviors.
Qualified families will receive up to $40.
There is no cost for you to participate in our research study.
