This study is looking at ways to help young adults ages 18-25 who smoke cigarettes or vape nicotine regularly quit nicotine use, including participants who also use cannabis but are not looking to change their cannabis use.
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Ages 18-25
- Smoke cigarettes or vape nicotine daily or almost daily and are interested in quitting nicotine
- Use cannabis and are not interested in cannabis treatment
- No unstable medical, psychiatric, or substance use conditions
Exclusion Criteria:
- Current use of smoking cessation products
- History of schizophrenia or bipolar disorder
- Current substance use disorder (other than nicotine or cannabis)
- If female, pregnant or trying to become pregnant
Screening
- Complete a short online screening survey to confirm eligibility
Study Participation (Remote)
- All study activities are completed remotely — no in-person visits required
Participants may receive up to $1,030 for completing study activities.
