Study Background

Despite research efforts, there are not yet any approved medications for cocaine use disorder. Several medications have been studied in the past, but none have been consistently effective. That’s why we’re working to find a treatment strategy that can help people reduce their cocaine use.

In this study, we will examine the effect of two medications: extended-release naltrexone and extended-release buprenorphine. This is a double-blind placebo-controlled study, meaning that some participants will get a combination of the two active medications, and some participants will get a dummy medication that has no effect, so that we can compare the outcomes.

Your participation in this study may help researchers improve treatment approaches for cocaine use disorder. Advance research today and join our compensated study!
