Study Background

What are you doing tonight?

Men who like men and trans folks who binge drink alcohol and consume drugs (such as party drugs) are at greater risk for HIV. Also, this same population is more likely to not be adherent to PrEP or HIV ART drugs. The Nightlife Study aims to learn more.

The Nightlife Study is a one-time, anonymous, and confidential online survey that will collect data and look for patterns surrounding party drug use and sexual behavior among men who like men and trans folks who are involved in the nightlife scene around the San Francisco Bay Area. Learning more about these patterns may help us design better ways to keep San Franciscans safe.
