Aging & Nutrition Research Study

Researchers at Tufts University are conducting a study to investigate how a high-fiber diet may impact muscle health in older adults.

Ages 65+ and Non-Smoker

Willing to Consume High Fiber-Containing Foods

Boston, MA

Study Background

Could eating more fiber improve muscle mass and muscle function?

We want to know if a whole food, high soluble fiber diet can have a positive impact on muscle health in older adults. Through this study, we will investigate how this diet alters levels of intestinal bacteria, and whether or not these changes have an effect on muscle function.

Help us learn more about the relationship between dietary fiber, gut health, and mobility by joining this compensated study!
