Study Background
KAMHS (Kids Accessing Mental Health Services) aims to assess parental knowledge of anxiety/depression and access to mental health services.
The findings of the study will provide information about possible barriers, facilitators, and points of intervention to increase early detection and treatment of anxiety and depression among Latine/Hispanic children and adolescents.
Early intervention has the potential to decrease the escalation of symptoms, and provide appropriate tools and skills for both parents and children to support mental health well-being during childhood.
