This study is testing an investigational medication to see if it may help adults who are currently experiencing depression.
Depression is a serious and common mental health condition that affects how a person feels, thinks, and handles daily activities. Arch Clinical Trials is running a clinical study to better understand the safety and potential benefits of an investigational drug for adults diagnosed with depression. This medication is currently being studied and is not yet approved by the FDA or any regulatory authority.
The study lasts approximately 11 weeks and includes two overnight stays at a research facility near St. Louis, MO (on Day 1 and Day 8). During your stay, you’ll receive meals, free lab work with results, and a physician consultation at no cost. All participation is voluntary, and those who qualify may receive up to $3,850 in compensation for their time and travel, plus transportation reimbursement.

Additional Information
This clinical study is being done to evaluate the safety and potential effects of an investigational medication designed to help people living with depression. The results will help researchers understand how the study drug works and how well it may be tolerated by participants.
You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Diagnosed with depression
- Willing to use some form of birth control during the trial (e.g., total abstinence, condom and spermicide, intrauterine device [IUD], oral contraception which has been stable for 30 days)
- For males, either you use a form of birth control (e.g., condoms) or your female sexual partner is on a birth control
- For females, either you use any form of birth control (e.g., a pill) or your male sexual partner uses a form of birth control
- Ages 18-65
- Agree to not donate sperm or eggs during the study and at least 3 months after receiving investigational drug
Exclusion Criteria:
- Use barbiturates, methadone, opiates, cocaine, phencyclidine (PCP), or amphetamine/methamphetamines
- Pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant in the near future
- Major surgery requiring general anesthesia within 2 weeks prior to the screening visit, fully recovered from any recent surgery, and no surgery planned during the study participation period
- Current or past history of seizures
- Donate sperm or eggs during the study and at least 3 months after receiving investigational drug
If you qualify and choose to join, your involvement will last around 11 weeks. You’ll visit the clinic several times, including 2 overnight stays with meals provided. You’ll also receive free lab testing, health checkups, and physician consultations. A phone interview is the first step to determine your eligibility.
Participants will be compensated up to $3,850, distributed in three payments throughout the study, plus transportation reimbursement, along with other perks like meals during overnight stays and complimentary medical evaluations.
