Study Background

Help us improve brain-based treatments for smoking and overeating.

Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) is an FDA-approved, noninvasive brain stimulation technique used to treat conditions like depression, OCD, and nicotine addiction. This study explores how rTMS might be tailored to individuals to help address unhealthy behaviors such as excessive eating or tobacco use.

Participants will undergo a brief series of assessments, including brainwave (EEG) monitoring and rTMS sessions, to help researchers better understand how the brain responds. The ultimate goal is to develop more effective, personalized rTMS treatments that support long-term behavior change.

Additional Information

We want to understand how the brain reacts to rTMS so we can develop personalized treatments for smoking and overeating.
