Study Background
Researchers are investigating the relationship between sleep, thinking, and the gut in adults who have first-degree relatives (mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters) diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
Individuals with a first-degree relative diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease are at a higher risk of developing the condition themselves. Understanding the connection between sleep, thinking, and gut health is crucial to identifying risk factors and disease outcomes.
With your help, researchers hope their findings will contribute to a better understanding of how Alzheimer’s disease develops and affects people. Alzheimer’s disease currently has no cure, and this study aims to explore potential biological and cognitive factors that may influence its progression.

Additional Information
This study will explore the relationship between the gut, sleep, and thinking. Lifestyle factors such as diet and sleep may influence the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. The goal of this study is to better understand how these factors relate to brain and gut health in adults who have a mother, father, brother, or sister diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
