Study Background
This study is evaluating the long-term safety of an investigational medication for adults with schizophrenia.
Schizophrenia is a long-term mental health condition that can affect the way people think, feel, and behave. Current treatments can be effective, but many patients experience ongoing symptoms, side effects, or challenges staying on medication. Research is needed to explore investigational treatment options that may better support individuals living with this condition.
In this study, participants will transition from their current antipsychotic medication to the study drug. Over a period of up to three years, researchers will monitor participants’ health and wellbeing through regular visits, medical assessments, and questionnaires. The goal is to better understand the safety of this medication over time, and to help identify a future treatment option for people living with schizophrenia.
