About the Studies
If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), you may qualify to participate in a study at Columbia University.
This study will examine the effects of a medication called Pimavanserin on behavioral rigidity and restrictive repetitive behavior in individuals with ASD. Besides taking the medication, study procedures include safety and efficacy evaluations with blood sample collections in addition to neurological/physical assessments. Participants will also receive multiple assessments that will allow the study team to provide a report of their areas of strength and difficulties. These may be helpful to their caregivers, teachers, or therapists.
