Study Background

Researchers from Florida State University are looking for individuals diagnosed with HIV.

The purpose of this research study is to explore and address overlaps of self-management of HIV and alcohol in emerging adults throughout Florida. Throughout the study you’ll be answering surveys, for which there is assistance provided if needed. We hope to empower our participants to be more active and engaged in your daily life.

The purpose of this research study is to explore and address overlaps of self-management of HIV and alcohol in emerging adults throughout Florida.

You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Diagnosed with HIV
  • 18-29 years old
  • Have had at least 1 alcoholic beverage in the last 30 days
  • Are not pregnant or trying to become pregnant
  • Currently reside in Florida
  • Able to understand/read/write English

Once enrolled, this study involves:

  • Completing online activities that may differ depending on which study you are randomly assigned to.

Compensation is provided up to $155 for your time.
