Study Background
Pennington Biomedical Research Center is looking for 25-49-year-old males and non-pregnant, pre-menopausal females, living in Baton Rouge DMA to participate in a dietary intervention study. The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the usefulness and benefits of dietary intervention approaches to slow aging.
Your expected time in this study will be 6 months consisting of 7 study visits which includes: Questionnaires; Physical measurements (height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, pulse, temperature); Blood work (both fasting and non-fasting); ECG; DXA imaging; Activity and glucose monitors; Tests of physical strength (grip strength) and pulmonary fitness; Cognitive testing; Urine collection; D-3 Creatinine.

The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of dietary intervention approaches to slow mechanisms of aging.
Your expected time in this study will be 6 months consisting of 7 study visits which includes: Questionnaires; Physical measurements (height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, pulse, temperature); Blood work (both fasting and non-fasting); ECG; DXA imaging; Activity and glucose monitors; Tests of physical strength (grip strength) and pulmonary fitness; Cognitive testing; Urine collection; D-3 Creatinine.

You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria.
Key Criteria:
- 25-49 year old males and non-pregnant, pre-menopausal females
- Regularly awaken between 5-8 AM
- No chronic medical conditions or current medications that would affect body weight or body composition
Once enrolled, this 6-month study involves 7 study visits including:
- Questionnaires;
- Physical measurements (height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, pulse, temperature);
- Blood work (both fasting and non-fasting);
- ECG;
