We will be comparing two different online programs, so you will be randomly assigned to one of two groups.

  1. Under one program, participants complete 6 weekly educational activities lasting 45 minutes each, and will have a total of 9 weeks to complete all 6 activities. In addition, participants will receive weekly objectives and engage in interactive features (i.e., personalized goal-setting, video vignettes).
  2. Under the other program, participants have access to web-based resources for 9 weeks, and are encouraged to access the sleep education to read at their own pace.

All study participants will complete additional measurements of their sleep and drinking habits (including daily diaries) before starting their program, immediately following their program, and then again at 3- and 6-month follow-ups.

All study activities will take place completely online.

Compensation is provided up to $200 for completing all parts of the study.

There is no cost for you to participate in the study.
