Study Background

Researchers at Johns Hopkins University are conducting The INGEST (INnovations to Generate Estimates of children’s Soil/dust inTake) Study. The study will help researchers estimate how much contact children have with soil and dust so they can develop better protections for children’s health.

Findings from this clinical research study may improve scientific methods and can be used to enhance children’s environmental health protections.

Depending on your availability and the age of your child, the study team could film a short video of your child playing, or they could collect samples of food, formula, diapers, soil, and dust from your home.
