Healthy Volunteer Research Study
Researchers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center are conducting a study in adults ages 70-79, to learn more about neck movement in healthy older adults.
Fast Facts

Ages 70-79

Able to walk, stand, sit, or bend without assistance

Compensation Provided

Conducted in Boston, MA
Study Background
Researchers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center are conducting a study in adults ages 70-79 to learn more about neck movement in healthy older adults.
Help us assess neck movement patterns in healthy older adults using NeckCare System. Through this experimental study, we will examine
- Whether neck movements are different in people with neck pain compared to healthy people
- Test whether neck movement patterns are associated with postural balance in older adults
Each study visit will take approximately two hours, where participants will be asked to perform a series of seated neck movements, walk within the room, and complete questionnaires.
Individuals ages 70-79 who are able to walk, stand, sit, or bend without assistance are invited to apply. Compensation provided.
