Study Background
Researchers at the Medical University of South Carolina are conducting a research study to better understand the experiences of pregnant and postpartum women to improve support during this time. This includes understanding what may impact cannabis use during pregnancy and postpartum.
Participation in this study will include a virtual interview and an online questionnaire. If you choose to participate, you will have the choice to complete one individual interview OR a group discussion with approximately 3-5 other people. All participants will be asked to complete an online questionnaire. You will be asked about your postpartum experience, questions about current levels of stress, pain, and mood, and questions about cannabis use.

To inform intervention development to reduce cannabis relapse for postpartum women by targeting symptoms that drive cannabis use.
You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Women ages 18+
- Gave birth in the last two years
- Regularly used cannabis before pregnancy
Participation in this study will include a virtual interview and an online questionnaire. If you choose to participate, you will have the choice to complete one individual interview OR a group discussion with approximately 3-5 other people. All participants will be asked to complete an online questionnaire.
If you choose to participate in the interview, you will be compensated $35 via Amazon gift card. You will be compensated an additional $15 via Amazon gift card for completing the online questionnaire.
There is no cost for you to participate in our research study.
