Many people do not have access to good health care, and this can lead to different health problems.
It has been found that not getting enough sleep can also cause health problems for some people, especially those who are not treated fairly because of their race or ethnicity. This study aims to understand how these things are connected and how they affect people’s daily lives. The results will help to find ways to make sure that everyone can have good health and be treated fairly.

There will be two study visits within this study, as well as some at-home assignments, as outlined below:
At the first visit, you’ll sign a form saying you agree to be in the study, do some quick health checks, and talk with a doctor. They’ll also show you how to use two devices: one to track your activity during the day and another to monitor your sleep at night. This visit will take about 2.5 hours.
At home, you’ll do small tasks for four days: wear a device that tracks how active you are from morning until night, sleep with another device for two nights to study your sleep, and write down how you slept each morning. After these four days, you’ll come back to the lab on the fifth day.
At the second visit, you’ll answer some questions about how you slept, your stress levels, things in your life that currently affect you, and how good you feel in general. This visit will take about 2 hours.
You can receive up to $375 for your participation in this study.
There is no cost for you to participate in our research study.
