Depression Research Study

Are you an adult experiencing
symptoms of depression?

BuildClinical is investigating how smartphone technology and wearable devices can help researchers better understand depression symptoms over time. By tracking mood, sleep, physical activity, and daily routines, researchers hope to improve future tools for monitoring mental health outside of traditional clinic visits.

No cost to participate.

The first visit will take place remotely on Zoom and will last about 90 minutes. During this session, participants will complete baseline questionnaires, receive a wearable activity tracker via mail, and receive training on downloading and using the study smartphone application.

Participants will then complete brief daily mood check-ins, weekly mental health questionnaires, and wear the activity tracker throughout the study period.

At the final session, participants will return the wearable device, complete follow-up questionnaires, and participate in a brief interview about their experience in the study.
