Study Background

Researchers at the University of Nebraska—Lincoln are conducting a study to learn about alcohol use in young adults.

The MAP (Motivations, Attitudes, and Perceptions) Study will examine young adults’ motivations behind, attitudes about, and perceptions around alcohol use. In addition to online measures, 1-2 Zoom sessions, and weekly follow-up surveys, participants will attend 1 in-person lab session where they will complete a virtual reality activity.

Ultimately, we hope that by gaining a greater understanding of alcohol use behaviors, we can identify ways to promote healthy practices among young adults.
