Your family may qualify for a study if you meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Parent of infant ages 6-14 months
- Able to travel to the University of Buffalo campus to participate
You and your infant would come to our lab on either North or South campus to participate in our study.
In one study, we would show your infant some pictures and play them some sounds on monitors, and record where they are looking.
In a different study, if your infant also has an older sibling 3 or 4 years old, we would ask you to come to our lab and play with them for 15 minutes.
For study participation, your family will receive a small, child-friendly thank-you gift, as well as compensation for travel (between $5-15 depending on the distance traveled).
Families are also provided a free parking spot, or we can schedule an Uber if transportation is needed.
There is no cost for your family to participate in one of our research studies.
