Conducted in Baltimore, MD

Study Background

Researchers at the Cannabis Science Lab at the Johns Hopkins University are studying the effects of different forms of cannabis edibles.

Chocolate, gummies, and drinks are all popular types of cannabis edibles. By studying use in healthy adults, we hope to understand how these different types of edibles affect both cannabinoid absorption and short-term drug effects.

Potential participants in our study will first undergo a 3-hour in-person screening evaluation to determine eligibility. Then, eligible individuals will complete 9 outpatient drug administration sessions, lasting approximately 9 hours each.
