Study Background
Join the Cellular Aging and Neurobiology of Depression (CAN-D) study!
In this study, we want to learn more about the roles of the oral microbiome and the gut microbiome. Specifically, we will be investigating the different roles they play in individuals with depression compared to individuals without depression.
Through this study, we hope to better understand how changes in the gut microbiome and oral microbiome affect psychiatric symptoms, and how these microbiomes may recover with antidepressant treatment.
