Study Background
Researchers at Yale University are attempting to establish tools that can be used as biomarkers and/or sensitive and reliable objective assays of social function in autism spectrum disorder clinical trials.
The Autism Biomarkers Consortium for Clinical Trials (ABC-CT) is a research study to understand how to better measure social skills in school-age autistic children. We are currently recruiting both non-autistic children and children with a diagnosis of autism between the ages of 6 and 11 years old. A diagnostic and cognitive evaluation is provided to all participants at no cost and participants will be compensated.

Additional Information
Your child may qualify for a study if they meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Ages 6-11
- English speaking
- No diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder
If you and your child participate in this study, here is what you can expect:
- Potential participants will be contacted by the study team to
conduct a brief phone screening to determine if they qualify. - If eligible, families will be assessed across three time points over
the course of 6 months (6 total in-person visits to the lab). - Visits include a clinical evaluation, parent questionnaires, and
children will participate in EEG and eye-tracking experiments.
It will not cost your family anything to participate in our research study.
