Study Background
We are evaluating the feasibility and effectiveness of the ENTRUST intervention.
This study is designed to help transgender women improve their financial skills and access health services that prevent or treat HIV and substance use issues. All participants will receive individual counseling for health and financial goals and some participants will join group sessions that teach budgeting and saving; and they will use a photo project to share their experiences. In addition to economic empowerment and accessing health care services, another goal is to find out if these activities can make it easier for transgender women to make social connections and bonds.
