Study Background
Researchers at Yale University are conducting a research study to measure the attachment of a drug to dopamine D2 receptors in the human brain of healthy subjects.
Our participants can expect three in-person visits. Participation will last for up to 36 days. This includes a 28 day Screening Period, an in-clinic period of up to 3 days (2 overnights), and a Follow-up visit up to 5 days after discharge.
Additional visits may be required if cancellations occur.
As part of this study, participants can expect a screening evaluation, a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanning session, one dose of the study drug, up to two overnight stays at the Hospital Research Unit (HRU), up to two Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scans and an end of study visit 1-5 days after your final PET scan.

Additional Information
The purpose of this research study is to measure the attachment of ITI-1284 to dopamine D2 receptors in the human brain of healthy subjects.
You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Ages 18-50
- No major health conditions
- Able to stay for two overnight visits at the research center
- No substance use disorder
- Be able to travel to study site in New Haven, CT
- Able to undergo an MRI (no non-removable metal in body or severe claustrophobia)
If you participate in this study, here is what you can expect:
- Three in-person visits will be required, and your participation will last for up to 36 days.
- This includes a 28 day Screening Period
- The screening visit will take 2-4 hours
- An in-clinic period of up to 3 days (2 overnights)
- The test period will last 3 days and the end of study visit should take approximately 3 hours
- Follow-up visit up to 5 days after discharge from the HRU.
The total amount that you are expected to be compensated will be up to $1825.
Subjects must cover initial transportation cost out of pocket, however, subjects are paid $150 (per visit for a max of 3 visits). If transportation costs exceed the stipend provided, additional costs may be reimbursed.
