Study Background

Cannabis is becoming increasingly accessible across the U.S. and attitudes and behaviors are changing as a result. CREATE examines experiences and behaviors through smartphone-based surveys and in a lab-based visit.

This study involves in-person and remote study procedures. We are asking participants to complete a baseline visit which involves an interview, a baseline survey, and a physio portion in our lab. After this baseline visit, we then do a smartphone portion with a heart rate tracking chest strap in the field for 17 days.

Participants will get 4 surveys a day with the option to complete cannabis use assessments as well. Then we send a follow-up survey at 6 months and bring participants in for a final 12-month follow-up, which involves surveys and a final physio portion. Lastly, they repeat the smartphone and chest strap portion for 17 days.
