Study Background
How do people in alcohol treatment use cannabis?
We are looking for people over the age of 18 in the Providence area who recently entered treatment or are seeking treatment for alcohol use, and who currently use cannabis or have in the past. If this sounds like you, you could be eligible to participate in a confidential paid research study from Brown’s School of Public Health.
Participation includes completing interviews, filling out questionnaires, and the use of an alcohol sensor bracelet and smart phones to report on activities in daily life for four weeks. Procedures will occur remotely (via videoconference) and in-person.
Eventually, we hope that the findings of this study might be useful for improving alcohol treatment. Help advance research by joining our study today.
