Researchers at the University of North Carolina are conducting one-on-one interviews with adults aged 18+ about their tobacco use.
The purpose of these interviews is to understand experiences, perceptions, and knowledge related to tobacco use. Each interview will take about 45 minutes.
Everything shared during the interview will remain confidential and not connected to the participant’s name.

Additional Information
These interviews are being conducted to understand how adults think about tobacco use. We want to know about your experience, your opinions, and what you know about tobacco use. Results from these interviews will help develop better ways to communicate information about tobacco to adults specifically.
You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Adult 18+ years old
- Use one or more tobacco products
- Live in the United States
If you are eligible and choose to participate, you will be asked to complete a one-time, 45-minute interview virtually via Microsoft Teams. If you consent, the interview will be recorded for transcription purposes only.
Upon completion of the interview, you will receive a one-time $25 gift card via email.
There is no cost for you to participate in our research study.
