Study Background
Researchers at the University of New Mexico are conducting this study to better understand why people successfully change multiple health behaviors. This information could be used to inform intervention to reduce the risk for chronic disease, such as cancer.
Are you setting a New Year’s resolution to get more active, eat healthier, or lose weight? We’re recruiting adults who are committed to making these changes and participating in Dry January for a unique research study. Our goal is to better understand the factors that help people successfully change multiple health behaviors. The insights from this study could be used to develop interventions that reduce the risk of chronic diseases, including cancer. By participating, you’ll contribute valuable information that could help improve public health and empower others to make lasting, positive changes.
