Study Background
How does mood fluctuate among teens who use marijuana?
The purpose of this study is to further understand how (or if) marijuana affects mood among teens who have been feeling depressed. The study consists of 12 visits over the course of approximately 10 weeks, and participants can earn up to $870. Study visits can be completed over Zoom or in-person.
If you or your child participate in the study, you/they will answer questionnaires and interviews, complete daily surveys during some periods of the study, and wear an activity watch. Some participants may also be asked to stop using marijuana for part of this study so we can learn about how depressive symptoms may change when teens stop using marijuana.
If you or your child are 12-18 years old, use marijuana frequently, and have been feeling depressed, you/they could be a good fit for this study. Apply today!
