Study Background
This study aims to learn more about smoking behavior and the use of other tobacco or nicotine products in adults 21 years and older
We want to understand how people use e-cigarettes and nicotine pouches and how this impacts smoking behavior for people who currently smoke cigarettes.
This study provides nicotine pouches and e-cigarettes to participants who are randomized to receive one or the other to try instead of smoking cigarettes for 4 weeks. Our team wants to learn about your experiences to understand what you think about these products.

Additional Information
This study is being done to learn more about smoking and the use of other tobacco products.
You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Ages 21+
- Currently smoke cigarettes
- Not currently using another method to quit smoking
- Can not be pregnant
At the intake visit, you will learn more about the study and see if you are eligible. If you qualify, there are 6 weekly visits for this study. You will be given either e-cigarettes or nicotine pouches to use for 4 weeks. Each week, you will return to our office for a 10-30 minute visit to provide feedback, for our team to monitor your health, and for you to receive replacement products.
You will be compensated for your time and participation in the study up to $330.
There is no cost for you to participate in our research study.
