People with eosinophilic asthma often have more frequent flare-ups and may not respond as well to standard treatments, even when using inhaled medications as prescribed. This study is evaluating whether a new oral investigational medication can help improve asthma control for people whose symptoms remain uncontrolled.

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria.

Inclusion Criteria:

• Ages 18-75
• Diagnosed with asthma
• Use a steroid inhaler
• Are not a current smoker

1. Phone screening — A member of the study team will call to ask a few questions and see if the study might be a good fit for you.
2. Screening period (up to 5 weeks) — You’ll join a virtual screening call, then come on-site to review and sign the informed consent form and complete screening assessments to confirm you’re eligible.
3. Treatment period (12 weeks) — You’ll receive either the study medication or a placebo. Visits happen weekly for the first 2 weeks, then at Week 4, then every 4 weeks. Your Week 12 visit marks the end of treatment.
4. Safety follow-up (4 weeks) — The study team will check in to monitor your health after treatment ends.

In total, participation lasts up to 21 weeks from screening through follow-up.

Compensation details will be shared with you by the study team during screening. Taxi transportation to and from study visits is provided, so getting to your appointments won’t be a barrier to taking part.
