Study Background
This study will help create better ways for families to recognize and respond to mental health concerns in young children as early as possible.
The Mental Health, Earlier Center at Northwestern University is inviting caregivers to participate in interviews that will shape new tools, trainings, and online resources for use in pediatric primary care. These interviews are meant to help find better ways for doctors and caregivers to notice and talk about mental health concerns in young children. They will help create things like a tool to find mental health risks, training for doctors, and ways to get caregivers more involved.
Participants will take part in a 60–90-minute Zoom interview and may be invited to join up to three sessions. Interviews will focus on understanding real-life experiences and challenges related to early mental health support. Your insights will directly guide the design of new approaches to help young children thrive.
