Study Background
Baylor College of Medicine is conducting a virtual study that provides anxiety treatment designed to fit the needs of autistic children between the ages of 11-17 years old. This is an internet-delivered, family-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) program that both the child and the parent participate in. During the program you will receive 12-14 weeks of CBT with therapist support. You will also be asked to participate in 4 virtual clinical assessments. The goal of the study is to determine how effective the internet-delivered CBT is in reducing anxiety and how it compares with a standard telehealth CBT.
