Study Background
This study is designed to better understand the connection between eating disorders and suicide in order to improve the prediction and prevention of these conditions.
The Eating Anxiety Treatment (EAT) Lab at the University of Louisville is inviting adults with active anorexia nervosa or atypical anorexia nervosa to participate in a remote research study. Researchers want to learn more about how eating disorders affect health and well-being over time.
If eligible, participants will complete a series of virtual activities including Zoom interviews, daily phone surveys, and wearing a provided wrist sensor for three weeks. Additional follow-up interviews and surveys will take place at 1, 6, and 12 months after the initial study procedures. This research will help inform future personalized treatments for eating disorders and mental health.
