Study Background
We want to better understand how people who drink alcohol make decisions about treatment options.
This study, called ASTERISK, is focused on individuals living in the San Francisco Bay Area who drink regularly. Participants will be asked to share their preferences about different types of treatments for reducing alcohol use, such as length of treatment, side effects, and overall cost.
The survey will be completed online and only takes about an hour. By sharing your views, you’ll help researchers design services that better reflect people’s real needs and reduce barriers to care.
