Study Background
This study is evaluating a potential treatment for adults whose high blood pressure is not well controlled.
The research is testing an investigational medication given as an injection under the skin every six months, in addition to participants’ current blood pressure medications. The goal is to determine whether this medication can help reduce the risk of serious cardiovascular events such as heart attack, stroke, heart failure, or cardiovascular death.
This study may be especially relevant for people with a history of cardiovascular disease, including conditions affecting the heart, brain, or circulation.
