Asthma
Research Study

Researchers at Johns Hopkins Medicine are conducting a research study to learn whether metformin, a medication commonly used to treat diabetes, may help improve asthma control in adults who are overweight or obese and have asthma that is not well-controlled. This study will compare metformin to a placebo over a 6-month period to better understand its effects on asthma symptoms and overall health.
