Remote Smoking
Research Study
Researchers at the University of Utah are conducting a research study called Project SWAP for Hispanic/Latino/a/x adults in the United States who currently smoke cigarettes. The study is testing whether culturally tailored text messages about switching from smoking to vaping may help reduce the health risks associated with cigarette smoking and support future smoking cessation efforts.

Additional Information
Researchers are studying whether culturally relevant text messages designed for the Hispanic/Latino community can encourage smokers to consider alternatives to cigarette smoking and reduce smoking-related health risks.
