These studies are being conducted to help researchers better understand how study medications are processed by different populations. The findings may help inform future research and support the development of potential treatments by evaluating safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic profiles in participants of Japanese or Chinese descent.

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Healthy adults of Japanese or Chinese descent
  • Have Japanese parents and grandparents or Chinese parents and grandparents

Participation includes the following activities:

  1. Complete a screening process to determine eligibility.
  2. Receive study medication as directed by the study team.
  3. Attend scheduled study visits, which may include an inpatient stay and outpatient clinic visits.
  4. Undergo blood draws, safety assessments, and monitoring so researchers can evaluate how your body processes the study medication.
  5. Complete all required follow-up visits and assessments.

Compensation is available for time and participation.

Participants may also receive study-related benefits such as meals and snacks during clinic stays, complimentary health assessments, physician oversight throughout the study, study-related laboratory testing, and access to certain test results when permitted by the study protocol. Available amenities and benefits may vary by study.
