You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

• Taking buprenorphine treatments for Opioid Use Disorder (such as Sublocade, Subutex, or Brixadi)
• History of sexual trauma
• Own a smartphone
• Ages 18+
• English speaking
• Diagnosed with opioid use disorder

Overall Duration

• The study lasts approximately 6 months and includes a 90-minute orientation session, a 21-day period of short daily surveys, and follow-up assessments at 3 and 6 months after completing the survey period.

Study Activities

• During the 90-minute orientation session, participants will:
  • Complete a baseline assessment, including questionnaires about their experiences, treatment, and health.
  • Review study instructions and learn how to complete the daily surveys.
  • Complete a release of information (ROI) form to allow the research team to verify current buprenorphine treatments for Opioid Use Disorder (such as Sublocade, Subutex, or Brixadi) with their healthcare provider.
    

At-Home Activities
After the orientation session, participants will complete a 21-day survey period using the “Catalyst by MetricWire” mobile app. Participants will:

• Receive and complete short surveys through the app 3–5 times per day.
• Spend approximately 3–5 minutes completing each survey.
• Answer questions about daily experiences, emotions, shame, and treatment-related experiences.

After completing the 21-day survey period, participants will complete additional follow-up assessments through Zoom at 3 months and 6 months. The study team will collect survey responses and assessment information to better understand how experiences of shame relate to treatment outcomes among individuals receiving buprenorphine treatments for Opioid Use Disorder (such as Sublocade, Subutex, or Brixadi).

Participants may receive up to $368 for their time.
