Additional Information
Trialmed is looking for adults interested in participating in clinical research studies. These types of studies help researchers study safety and effectiveness of new medications, therapies, devices, or dose routes and are required by the FDA.
You may be eligible for these studies if you meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Ages 18+
- Living with obesity
- Have not used weight-loss medication (including GLP-1 medications) recently
Exclusion Criteria:
- Previous bariatric surgery (or planned surgery during the studies)
- Current participation in another weight-loss program or study
If you express interest, here’s what you can generally expect:
- Complete an initial screening. You’ll answer questions about your health, medical history, and eligibility. A diagnosis, if applicable, may be confirmed during the screening process.
- Be contacted by the research team. If you appear to qualify, a member of the site staff may contact you by phone, text, or email to discuss available research studies.
- Review study details. You’ll receive information about the specific research study, including visit schedules, procedures, and any eligibility requirements before deciding whether to participate.
- Participate if eligible. Depending on the research study, participation may include outpatient clinic visits, overnight stays, telephone calls, study-related medical care, clinical assessments, education related to the study, and, if applicable, access to investigational potential new medications at no cost. Visit schedules and procedures vary by study.
If you qualify, participate, and adhere to clinic rules and regulations, you will be paid throughout the study period. A schedule will be provided with planned payment dates, and final compensation depends on the specific study in which you may be enrolled.
There is no cost for you to participate in our research studies.
