Study Background

Researchers at the University of Pittsburgh are studying young men (ages 18-22) who received an ADHD diagnosis in adulthood (over age 18) and are currently being treated for ADHD.

This study focuses on differences among people diagnosed with ADHD earlier and later in their lives.

Participants will complete a 60-minute online survey and will be paid $100 for survey completion. This brief survey can be completed once a year for three years. Participation is fully remote.

This research study is seeking to learn more about the timing of receiving a diagnosis of, and treatment for, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria.

Key Criteria:

  • Men ages 18-22
  • Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult
  • Prescribed medication for the treatment of ADHD

Once enrolled, this study involves:

  • Completing three annual online surveys
    • Duration: 60 minutes
    • Location: Fully remote

Compensation is provided up to $100 for survey completion. Participants can complete this brief survey once a year, for three years, and earn up to $300.
