Additional Information
The goal of the study is to look at brain function in 9 and 10 year-olds with ASD.
Your child may qualify for this study if they meet the following criteria.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Children ages 9-10 with parent/guardian participation
- Child has been diagnosed with Autism (Autism, Aspergers, High Functioning Autism and PDD-NOS)
- Child and parent fluent in English
- No major neurological or seizure disorders
Once enrolled, this study involves 6 to 8 in-person visits at the University of Minnesota, each of which last about 2.5 hours. The first two visits are made up of behavioral and observational data collection. The remaining four visits are a series of MRI scans, during which participants will watch videos of their choice, as well as videos selected by the study staff.
Compensation is provided up to $650 for your child’s participation.
There is no cost for your child to participate in our research study.
